Disney World!

So, over the Christmas break my parents, Evan, and I took a wonderful trip to the MAGICAL Disney World and loved every minute of it! The main reason we were going was for my parents and I (not Evan) to run the Disney World Marathon! This was my first marathon and my parent's second marathon so we were all excited about the experience.  Evan was a trooper! We signed him up to be on the Cheer Squad (haha!) and he had access to certain areas of the park so he could cheer us on. So I'll start from the beginning of the trip...
We arrived Friday afternoon and went straight to our hotel. We stayed at the Beach Club Resort. It was in a wonderful location and only a 5 minute walk to Epcot.

 The carpet in the entire hotel was Little Mermaid... loved it!

After we checked in we went to the Marathon EXPO to pick up our packets. We thought it was cool that the sport area was sponsored by the Hess company.

 Our first meal was at the Rose & Crown in Epcot. We all had fish and chips and they were amazing!

It was also cool because I've eaten at the real one in Oxford!

 We ran into Tigger and Pooh the entire time we were there.

 Saturday we had the entire day to explore all the parks so we started at Hollywood studios! This was definitely my favorite park because of all the rides!

 My mom stood in line for every single autograph with every single character!

 We ate at a diner for lunch.

 The Toy Story Mania ride (we didn't get to ride but it certainly was the most popular ride)

 Next we went to Animal Kingdom and walked around.

 We rode Expedition Everest later on the trip! That was definitely my second favorite ride!

 Next we went to MAGIC KINGDOM!
 Evan has been to Disney World before when we was younger and had taken a picture in this exact same spot so we tried to relive that moment... only he has facial hair now.

 My wish was to ride the teacups! SO I DID! (then Evan got sick...)

 We ate at the Lady and the Tramp restaurant!

 On Sunday we woke up at 3:00 in the morning to begin our MARATHON!

 This was after we entered the Magic Kingdom around Mile 10

 I have never been so proud of a medal in my entire life! totally worth it!

We had breakfast with the princesses the next morning! Belle is my FAVORITE princess of them all so inside I'm screaming and all my childhood dreams are coming true. I should have told her that I was her for Halloween when I was in 3rd grade. She asked me if Evan was my "fantastic family" or my "handsome prince".

This was such a great trip that Evan and I will never forget! Thanks to my parents for encouraging me throughout the entire marathon. I love you so much Mom and Dad!
